If you're like me you love the sound and feel of an authentic acoustic guitar. This is exactly the feeling I got when I picked up my first Godin 12 string guitar. With a neck that is shaped similar to a Fender Strat, the comparisons are easy to come by.

This particular range of guitars, while they're bigger than the Godin A6's, have a very comfortable weight and feel when you hold them. The first time I played this guitar on stage, it was easy to forget how long I'd been playing because of its comfortable wearability. It has an old-fashioned construction made up mostly of a cedar top and a smooth neck which is crafted from maple. These Godin 12 strings offer a wide range of colors, including guitars with gloss as well as those with semigloss finishes.

12 string Godin guitars usually come with quality bags, but if you pay a few dollars extra you can get a hard shell case which is better suited for long travel or rough-and-tumble use.

With regards to the sound of these 12 string guitars, I would put them in a class with comparable Fenders or Gibsons. I've had mine for over two years, and the guitar still has a vibrant, bright sound to it that seems to have only gotten better with age. It has been my experience that Godin guitars not only look really good to the layman, but offer a level of functionality and design which takes into account the rigors of travel. These guitars, with their attention to detail, professional quality, and top-of-the-line hardware, are really built with the musician in mind.

After over two years of constant use, I have not once needed to call customer support. I happened to get my Godin under a new warranty, and from what I've heard, the dealers are usually pleased to assist customers who have any questions.

While I did not get this Godin off of eBay, I have bought many accessories for it off of both eBay and Amazon, and I've found that there are a lot of high-quality Godin 12 string guitars and parts available there. My advice would be to look there first for an affordable deal and then venture elsewhere if you can't find the exact equipment that you're looking for.
